Let me put is this way, you don't want to buy one from Eby... Romain's media center is more than capable of playing the latest games without lag and does a decent job decrypting dvds- it's not the beast, but it is good. It would be orders of magnitude better than anything Eby could build for that same price. Josh is still running a business, Matt and I gave up on the money making aspect of it and are willing to sell below retail and even wholesale prices. We have yet to meet a price we can't beat. I don't know Romains whole accounting system anymore, but there isn't any commission on my parts/services.
I wont go so far as to indorse it as the best option because I myself have parts to sell. If you want choice consider my stuff, if you want it tomorrow give Romain a call. I have Wednesday and Thursday off if you want to discuss computers. I'd say my average computer takes about 5 hrs to build (w/ software) and it takes 2-3 days for parts so it's not such a wait... Mine also comes with access to my hard drives if you catch my drift... lol

This would be a great computer for you fred, its basically a good mid range gaming system. You could so anything you'd like with it. It will play ALL games that are out, and most to the highest resolution. The HD is SATA so you'll have good speed dealing with large amounts of music, and movies.
I'd really like to stress that I am selling this below current market value. I'm charging at or below current value of all the parts inside, and that's it. (I paid much more for most of them.) I arrived at the price of $575 by adding up all the prices of all the componenets (mostly on newegg.) You don't' have to choose between harvey and me for what you want, I always work with him anyways!
I'm not selling this to make money, or as a business adventure, or whatever. We found out long ago that you can't compete with ebay and newegg, and still make money.

We found out long ago that you can't compete with ebay and newegg, and still make money. Unless ur like Dell, Gateway, or HP....and sell tons of accessories way above wholesale value fucking pre-made POS's....lol And fred, id agree....I was talking to sean...and if it wasn't for the fact that he's getting a house, he would have bought it, that's a really really nice computer for the price. Though, if sean does get a house soon, and after the fact his finances are good enough...he may buy it if it's still for sale. or if he gets a job, but he has to get a house first before he gets a job...can u believe that a bank is telling him he needs a job before he can get a loan for house, when he can pay for a ~50K house in cash?.....it's kinda gay...he told them, I've had teh same job for the past 4 years...and I'm not going to get a job in K-zoo untill I get a house, because im not driving 45 minutes to get to work everyday.....and he doesn't want to rent...gay banks lol.....but back on subject lol Fred, if you have it, buy that PC....if you dont, save the money and buy that PC. lol or, talk w/harvey and matt together and see what else they can put together haha.

sure, checking it out is a good idea, i wouldnt want to buy something like that without checking into it first! if you're gonna be around this weekend i can bring it down with me. As for the harddrives, i'm willing to keep the one i have in it (subtract its value form total) and stick harvey's 320's in instead. that should be an easy swap for me and harvey. That thing would haul with 2x 320's in raid!
