Now, I played through Halo 2 and it was a good Sci-Fi shooter but it didn't really nab my attention like the original. Lost Planet on the other hand is the first addicting DX10 game I've played. The graphics are stellar, the guns, units and story line all seem to come straight out of a Japanese anime. It's also the fist game I've been unable to max the graphics on since Doom 3. Plot in the single player missions is fairly linear, but I've still managed to spend hours simply wandering around exploring the maps. I can't wait to try the multiplayer... The VS and grappling hooks really add to the enjoyment of the game. The only complaint I have is being unable to look straight up in 3rd person view. Other than that I think it's a great game and you guys should check it out. There are cracked versions available for download, but this is a game you may want to consider buying for online play.

"There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened." --Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
