ProBoards Version 4.5 is a an upgrade to the existing Version 4 software, implementing many of the most frequently requested new features, and rectifying some of the most common issues.
The biggest improvement is the increase in speed for listing of posts, members, and search results. The 1000 member cap on viewing top posters has been removed.
In addition to the general speed increases, there are still many new enhancements coming to the system. These are just a taste of what you can look forward to in the future.
At this time, the full feature list is as follows:

The ability to hide the above mentioned sub-boards

Version 4.5 FAQ
When will V4.5 be installed on Proboards Support?
Once we are happy with the results of the current beta testing period, we shall upgrade the support forum, allowing us to do a final live test of the software, on a full and realistic production environment
When will my forum get V4.5?
At this time we will be unable to give any estimates on this. We will be doing extensive bug testing and will release Version 4.5 when it is ready.
Can feature X or Y be added to V4.5
There isn't any need to suggest new features at this point. V4.5 is already completed, and in its testing phase. Once 4.5 has been out for a short while we will reopen our suggestions board to allow suggestions for future patches to the V4 series.
Can i join in the testing?
Yes, everyone will get a chance to test it. We will provide links to Version 4.5 forums that you can use to test and look for bugs at a later date.
Will i lose any data when my forum is converted?
No, none at all. The only thing that will happen is that during the conversion process your forum will be unavailable for a short while. After this your forum will be back, in V4.5 format.
Will my forum modifications be affected?
For the most part no. The overall layouts and structure of the pages will remain the same.
The things which may be affected, depending on how they are coded, are:
Info center mods
Codes modifying the thread listings
