The problem with staying up all night is that you eventually get very bored and can't go to sleep cause well you've got to get up. It's to the point where you're not tired because you just don't feel anything anymore. From what I can see there are a surprising number of people at this school who just don't sleep(until lecture that is)... lol

Wow, when I came in to the fishbowl at 7pm last night there was 4-5" of snow on the ground and a heavy fog. When I walked out at 7am this morning it's all gone including the giant snow monster eating people on the Diag.... There is a lot of water out there.

You knows what a bitch? The busses don't run until 7am so apparently I need to spend 10% of my earnings on parking every day, either that or get my bike out of the closet.... Why oh why do I work on Central Campus?!?

You got that right. I94 is officially closed, we tried it but we literally couldn't get out of kzoo. The Hyundai wouldn't even track straight, we had to go 15mph, got the the first exit and turned back... So, I'm officially screwed.

Ok, so I think this is a year for records... Never have I seen so many cars stuck in Ann Arbor. I left Pierpont Commons at 5:55pm on a the most congested Bursley-Baits bus I've ever been on. Under normal conditions the ride to Central Campus would have taken about 7minutes. Little did I know that 25 minutes later I would be on a cramped bus unable to move, sitting in traffic less than a quarter mile from where I boarded... I got off at the first stop and walked the rest of the way passing three more buses trying to make their way through the mess. I reckon it's a good 2-3miles to Central but I made pretty good time walking and would have only been 20minutes late for my meeting. That is until I logged on the computer at Angell Hall to find out they canceled the meeting literally minutes after I boarded the bus. So now I guess I'm going to walk back up to North wasting a good two hours of my time.

Wow it is apparently bad enough that people have abandoned their cars along the city streets and have completely given up trying to climb any sort of incline.

well, a good sized chunk of snow and ice, id say about 30-35 pounds worth attached itself to my drivers side ground effect skirt below the running board, and then proceeded to rip it off the car as i was driving down the street. plus, today when i was going to battle creek, i actually experienced I-94 being closed and having to divert to the emergency route around battle creek. fucking winter, im so over it...

Like I say, Michigan is a great place to live as long as you don't have to either work or go to school.

I-94 has been closed 3 times in the last 3 months....2 in just the last 2 weeks lol. Sucks trying to get to work or home during this ...good think I only have 10 minutes now! We finally closed on our house and we're moving in next weekend (cleaning and fixing a few things up this week ). And Harvey, you have to realize, this is Michigan, almost no one works here and everyone drops out of school...so no reason to have any of it open or to worry about driving anywhere lol.... (wel-fare and unemployment working with Michigan weather....how nice! :\)
