If you have any ideas or suggestions please post them below... I think this will be our primary field for a good bit of the summer so if you have something to say, say it!

I'm going to be clearing some of the smaller trees and see if I can open up the driveway again on Saturday, March 24th. Hopefully, we'll have enough time to start on some preliminary bunkers as well. As always, your time, help, and resources would be greatly appreciated.
As always bunkers should be predominantly wood, we want to keep it as biodegradable as possible. If Fred and Aaron could capitalize on the manpower currently available in town, we might be able to have something fairly respectable for the weekend. My idea is to start by building 5 face boxes, but if you guys could just start breaking down pallets it would be one big step in the right direction. Man how I wish I didn't have school and I know you guys are in the same boat, but every little bit helps.
Lets plan to have a bit of a bonfire down there Saturday night, or at least the makings of one.... The forecast calls for rain on Saturday, but lets hope Sunday looks brighter.

I think we should build a fort somewhere towards the river, and as for barriers, natural barriers for most of the woods, and possibly an area with a lot or barriers.

Like I've said before I'd like to create a so called "depot" with tons of boxes close together that play like the Hornet's nest. I think this is one of the fundamental scenarios whether it is a fps game or paintball, preferably located in the relatively open area down by the river. I also think we should try to clear some of the undergrowth around the big trees and perhaps build a fort like structure near that cedar in the middle. I think we need to have a more organized staging area farther from the action because I think we were kinda in the middle of it last time.

Ya, pretty much when i got out the one time, they were zinging by me while i was cleaning my gun. They were a little too close. Aaron and i will have to load up the pallets and boards and whatnot that we have aquired and go out there. Any idea on how many pallets you will need?

I'd keep them at your place 'til I get home and then I'll come help you load them up. I think we'll find places for them all eventually, so if you want you could start breaking some down to build other things, but I don't really expect too much out of anyone without me being there as well.

why would you clear the undergrowth? leave it as natural cover...
and the best thing to do with pallets
A. leave them as they are and cover the slots with plywood B. take the slats off one side and put them on the other so there's no gaps
option A works much better, and is much much sturdier, aside from plywood, u can use tarps, metal, anything that won't let paintballs through

I mostly want to get the rose bushes and things that will limit mobility....
I'm pretty much looking at option B, try to keep the cost to a minimum and put the plywood somewhere else.

Ya, thats probably the most cost effective. I Think i have enough pallates to take care of what you need.
