www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/silenthill/hd/This looks to be a direct copy from the first game with a few character alterations......If it is true it might actually make a good video game movie! I am going to go to the theaters to see this one.....

I thought the RE movies were really good.....Do not bother with the Doom movie that is the biggest fucking POS ever made.....if you wanna watch it wait til the LAN I have it on DVD and we can run it on one of the projectors......
but Silent Hill looks like it is true to the game! a couple of character alterations and that looks like it is about it! and PYRAMID HEAD FTW!

I didn't like the first RE movie, but I thouht the second was a great adaptation... Doom - we don't need to go there, while it was better than I had expected. FFVII is probably the only video game movie that stayed true to its roots...

I have played all the RE games and I was dissapointed in the fact that there was no mansion cop shop etc.. in the movies i agree that they were good movies but they had almost no resembalance to the storyline of the games that is what pissed me off.

I just saw the trailer on tv, from the looks of it I think it will be pretty good. It seemed to be pretty freaky, but I didn't see any demons flying around...
If Sean Bean is in there, there must be something good.

they did change a lot of it but I think it is still by far the best video game movie to date.......they stayed true to the silent hill franchise....

well me dan and harvey went and saw it, and i think it was very good.
it was alot better than the typical horror movie, had a good plot and was complex and confusing - had alot of mystery to it.
there were also good moral messages in the movie
some of the most evil things done are in the name of god, yet some of the most innocent things are claimed as pure evil
yeah and blind faith in just about anything is probably a bad thing...

yeah but you do not get the movie theater experience unless you have a projector or a very large TV.....ask Romain he will agree I am sure....it is ten billion times better watching a movie on a projector with good surround sound than to watch it on a little computer monitor with head phones/cheap speakers
if you have no projector/large TV then you should at least go to the movies once and a while to fully enjoy it!

yeah its pretty bad when you leave movies and realize you have better equipment at home i think i made that comment after we saw silent hill my sound is way better than the crappy three rivers theater, my surround is better, bass is lower and tighter, only thing they have is a bigger screen
now the theaters in kalamazoo are much better and the theater in yipsilanti WOW!! that was an awesome theater - big as hell!

Three Rivers sucks.....their LCD projector had a grouping of dead pixels through all the previews (which since they were just oreviews I did not care much) but the screen was fucking falling down so there were all these shadows and lines on the screen and then half way through the movie the lens shifted so the top half of the screen was actually the bottom half and the bottom half was actually the top half......
