How is it not? Need some loc-tite for the velocity adjuster? lol

I've never locktited the velocity screw on my phantom and if it were me i would use teflon tape instead it is less perminint and will still provide a tighter fit. LOL

After learning more about adhesives, I wouldn't hesitate to use loctite besides I've seen people make a bigger mess with teflon tape.

yes but if you use locktite then velocity is perminantly set and that could pose chronoing problems on both hot and cool days where teflon tape can be easily adjusted.

There are different loc-tites for different applications... Not all are meant to be permanent.

blue is the weakest, which would probably be the best, red is semi permanent and green is permanent.

Yes I've used blue on some of my guns before and many companies sell their guns with red pre-installed on all the screws.

I disassembal my guns to much to use glue on them so I guess whatever floats your boat.

ya...idk what you would need to screw something down and glue it for....the tippmans just all come apart without any gluing...why would yo uwant to glue something on a gun you want to be able to take apart to clean for anyways? lol

Because you shouldn't have to clean it, and Tippmann does use Loctite from the factory. I don't know why his phantom would have any issues because it's litterally made with <15 parts. But if his velocity adjustment somehow came loose he might try using loctite, although I usually only use it on guns I'm selling.

hmm....so is it clear on mine?...cause none of parts on my gun seem to have and blue, green, or red stuff lol...o well lol...it works, and it's easy to adjust things lol
unless ur talking about the air system....like where i'd hook the remote too...?

They put it on all the airlines and many of the autocockers use it on the front phnuematics as well. I prefer teflon tape, but loctite is cheaper, faster and easier. Loctite just seems like a second rate solution, there isn't anything "wrong" with loctite but teflon tape is definitely more friendly to those who know what they're doing. Loctite is advised for kids who buy a gun off the shelf and expect it to work without rebuilding it first.
